Absolutely. Your recordings are stored safely on your device (and securely synced to your personal iCloud account if you are on the Pro tier). When using Convoxa Speech, your audio is never stored beyond the time needed for processing, and we never listen to or access your recordings.

Transcription can run either way. Apple Speech happens entirely locally on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac—no audio leaves the device. Convoxa Speech processes audio securely via our enterprise infrastructure, transiently only. Note generation always runs in the cloud: your transcript is processed in memory and discarded immediately. So if you transcribe on-device and never generate a note, nothing about that recording leaves your device.

Purely to authenticate you, so your subscription and quota follow you to a new device. We never see your password, and you can use Apple's Private Relay so we never see your real email address either. We may occasionally email you about the product itself or to ask for feedback—never marketing, advertising, or tracking.

No. Convoxa is 100% ad-free. We don't use your data to train AI models, nor do we sell or rent it to third parties. Your privacy is our business model.

You can export your notes and transcripts directly from any note in the app. Your data is yours—export it as plain text anytime.

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. On Mac, open App Store → your name → Account Settings → Subscriptions. Manage or cancel at any time.
